Pennant and Page
Eleanor Page working with a client in a bright city studio

About me

Hi, I'm Eleanor. I write words that work as hard as you do.

Pennant and Page is my freelance copywriting practice — named for my grandfather's signal flags and my grandmother's bookshelf. For ten years I've helped startups and established brands say what they mean and sell what they make.

My background is in local journalism, which taught me to find the story, check the facts and file on time. I brought all three habits to commercial copy, and clients seem to like the combination.

Work with me

What I write

Four kinds of project, one standard: researched with your customers, written in your voice, measured after launch.

Websites

Full-site rewrites and new builds: homepage promise, service pages, about, pricing reassurance and the calls to action that tie them together.

Emails & sequences

Welcome series, launch sequences and newsletters people open. Strategy, subject lines and every word inside — tested against your list, not my taste.

Sales pages

Long-form pages for launches, courses and flagship offers: narrative structure, objection handling and proof stacked in the order sceptics need it.

Advertising & print

Campaign angles, headline banks, brochures and annual reviews — the printed pieces buyers keep, pin up and quote back to you.

How I work, in three sentences.

I research your customers before I write a word. You approve the angle before you pay for the draft. We measure the result ninety days after launch.

No disappearing acts, no jargon, no “final_final_v7” chaos. Two structured revision rounds, a shared timeline, and copy you own outright.
